Natural Stone Cleaner: Safe Cleaners for Marble, Granite, Travertine & More
Natural stone needs the right cleaner. Harsh household products, bleach and acids can dull polished marble, etch limestone and travertine, and strip sealers. Products that are too weak leave grime in the pores. Our Professional Grade stone cleaners are made in Australia for each type of cleaning.
Everyday cleaning
- EzyClean+: a pH neutral, concentrated cleaner and commercial grade disinfectant with ActivePlus antibacterial action. Rinse-free and streak-free, safe for all natural stone and won't strip sealers. Use 30–60 mL per 4 L of water for daily and weekly mopping.
- Boost Plus: a pH neutral concentrated cleaner that also helps top up sealer protection as you clean.
- Benchtops: Refresh+ spray cleaner and disinfectant, or AquaGuard spray cleaner and re-sealer.
Deep cleaning and conditioning
- Stone Wash+: a concentrated, alkaline deep cleaner, conditioner and disinfectant for floors. Lifts dirt, grease, grime, soap scum and old wax from marble, limestone, travertine, granite, bluestone, sandstone and terrazzo.
- Stone Gel+: the same deep clean as a ready-to-use cling gel. Ideal for walls, showers and splashbacks.
Heavy duty cleaning
- XtremeClean+: a high alkaline heavy duty cleaner, degreaser and disinfectant for neglected floors, outdoor stone, kitchens and commercial areas. Removes heavy dirt, grease, grime and wax.
- Active Plus: for leaf, mould, algae and tannin stains on outdoor stone and pavers.
Which stone cleaner for which stone?
Marble, limestone, travertine, terrazzo, bluestone, basalt and shellstone are acid-sensitive. Use only EzyClean+, Boost Plus, Stone Wash+, Stone Gel+, XtremeClean+ and Active Plus, and never acid cleaners such as OxiTreat+ or Oxi Gel+. For rust use Rust Away; for grout haze use Haze Away or MicroScrub.
Granite, quartzite, slate and sandstone tolerate a wider range of products. For heavy grime or efflorescence on these, OxiTreat+ can also be used.
How to deep clean natural stone
- Sweep or vacuum loose grit, which acts like sandpaper underfoot.
- Dilute Stone Wash+ as per the label (or use Stone Gel+ on walls), apply and leave for a few minutes.
- Agitate with a soft brush or the Scrub'N'Clean Kit.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water and let the stone dry.
- If water now soaks in quickly, reseal with Aqua-Seal Gold+ or Enhance'N'Seal.
- Keep it clean week to week with EzyClean+.

What is the best everyday cleaner for natural stone?

Can I use vinegar, bleach or bathroom sprays on marble?
No. Acids such as vinegar can etch marble, limestone and travertine. Bleach and harsh sprays can degrade sealers. Use a stone-safe cleaner.
How do I deep clean dirty travertine or limestone?
Use Stone Wash+ on floors or Stone Gel+ on walls, agitate, rinse and dry. For heavy grime and grease, use XtremeClean+.
What cleans mould and leaf stains off outdoor stone?
Active Plus is made for leaf, mould and tannin stains on hard outdoor surfaces. Rinse well afterwards.
Will Stone Wash+ remove my sealer?
Stone Wash+ is formulated to deep clean without affecting sealer performance. XtremeClean+ is stronger and is often used before resealing.
